SENIORS ALIVE IN the LORD were busy this past month with studying God’s Word with Pastor Tom, designing and creating our display for Fellowship Sunday, and following Charles and Lynann into the glacial mountains and port cities of Alaska in their power point presentation.  With laughter, fellowship, and delicious refreshments provided by Carlyn and Luther Dalton, September was full of fun.    We appreciate the great response from our congregation in filling school supply boxes for Tsunami victims. Our FLY Youth helped with the project by decorating the boxes, and now they  have been dedicated and are ready to mail with our hope that those who receive them will know more about the love of Christ through our loving care.

             Our next Bible study with Pastor Tom will be at 10:00 AM on October 4^th in the library at church.  Plans are in the works for our trip to Clark Gardens in Mineral Wells on October 18^th.  Just $10 will reserve you a place on the cart to ride and see the 35 acres and hear the presentation from an employee of the gardens. We would leave from the church at 9:30 a.m.  Lunch will be on your own.   Be sure to sign up in the narthex.
