Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is assist each woman of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

 

Motto

Our Purpose

 

In fervent gratitude for the Savior’s dying love and His blood-bought gift of redemption we dedicate ourselves to Him with all that we are and have; and in obedience to His call for workers in the harvest fields, we pledge Him our willing service wherever and when ever He has need for us.

 

The  League Pledge

 

We consecrate to our Savior...Our hands to work for him, our feed to go on His errands, our voice to sing His praises, our lips to proclaim His redeeming love, our silver and our gold to extend His kingdom, our will to do His will, and every power of our life to the great task of bringing the lost and the erring into eternal fellowship with Him. Amen.
Text Box: Faith Lutheran Church & School Text Box: Faith LWML was organized in 1960 and the charter date is September 12, 1961. we are a member of the Trinity Zone LWML and the Texas District. We hold several fundraisers throughout the year and collect Mites to support the Texas District mission projects. Local missions include hosting showers for brides and new mothers, care packages to military and college students and providing meals for shut ins. Monthly meetings are held with a variety of activities for all ages of women. LifeLight Bible studies are held in the spring and fall.
